Gaffer goes on holiday

The club is set to lose 2 defenders in Spring 2010 after a confirmation was received from Finland. Gaffer Ang and reliable centre-half cum 3rd choice keeper Lin will be away for half a year in 2010 on an exchange to a uni there.

The effect on the loss of 2 defenders will be reduced when beefy striker Song returns from his stint in Sweden. He is expected to be back in action starting from mid january.

The club is rumoured (yet again) to be in contact with ex-barcelona and liverpool star, finnish international Jari Litmanen for a possible coaching stint. Talks are said to be in progress and it is a glorious opportunity for BPFC to extend their international relations with the rest of the world.

An assistant gaffer looks set to be announced in the coming weeks to take over club duties.

News Flash!

As mentioned in the tagboard, winger Favian has been diagnosed with probable torn ligaments on his leg. Taking it one level higher than his predecessor Mr lim, Fav is likely to be suffering from not 1, but 2 torn ligaments. Ironically, Fav was the indirect cause of Song's torn ligament on that fateful day in the jurong west street soccer court where a backpass started song's injury woes.

Fav's wizardry on the right flank is likely to be missed for 8 months as mentioned by the doctor. However, the club's chief physio is looking towards a quick solution as there has been news that the club has been in contact with Van Persie's doctor. There has been rumours that a placenta massage is likely to be used on Fav in a bid to reduce the length of the layoff.

*Regent sec has been booked on 20th Dec, Sunday, 11-1. I can also book it on 27th dec, 11-1 or 1-3 as well, do u guys want to play on artificial turf at such timings on 2 consecutive weeks?
