Bragging Rights!!!
First of all, I would like to thanks all BPFC mates who helped me earn bragging rights in my class.LOL!
In addition to Gaffer Ang's post, I would like to give some review to our match against my friend's, Yuefeng's, team. Shan't repeat what Gaffer mentioned. Here it goes...
Prior to the match, it was reported to the Gaffer that the Kai and Kel central defence partnership had gone partying in Phuture the evening before the match. Reliable sources had reported that Kai was seen dancing and seemed as if he was celebrating a win in a game he had yet to play. Kai's agent refused to disclose furthur details of his partying. Nevertheless, Kai and Kel turned up to the match. Surprisingly, they are even the earliest to turn up.
Also, it was reported from NTU that Bingxian would be missing out in the game. He's formidable street skills had granted him a chance to win in the NTU Street Challenge. Unfortunately, we received news that his team did not manage to emerge champions. Such a pity, considering he could have played in this match and show why he got the ability to SHINE!
Kai's post-match interview with BP Times:
Q: What do you think of the team today?
I truly feel Guo Xing's presence is definitely a boost. Although Favian and Guo Xing just recovered from illness, they still turn up for the match and did their part in aiding Kai to earn his bragging rights he wanted so much. In addition, many players played with injury and cramps. Truly grateful dudes!!! As mentioned, the no. of unfit players and the need to loan 2 players from Gaffer's wide range of source had made us into a makeshift side, again. However, I thought we gelled together and did fairly well. I must admit I had my fair share of mistakes, being either Tom or Jerry for a while.
Q: What about the own goal?
For Chewy, if you are reading this, no worries to the own goal mate. If you are still thinking about it, I will feel bad as I seriously think its partly my fault as I was caught flat. So forget about the goal ya!!!
Q: What do you think of your opponents today?
As for our opponents (if you are reading this, no offence as it is just some personal opinion), they are a group of Secondary School friends coming together to form a soccer team. They were formally a street team, and moving on to play field. Sounds like us huh. This probably explains why they lack a little of exposure to field soccer. Anyway, all in all, good luck in your upcoming league!!!
Q: What are your feelings now?
I would like to give thanks to all for played in this game. Thanks to Jackson, Chewy, Kel, Ang, Kian Tat, Fav, Raymond, Xing, Alison, Heng and Pengyong. Seeing my friends fighting hard to get a win after being leveled 2-2 is truly a touching sight.
Q: What do you think of Favian's comments on your improvement?
I am truly heartened by the comment. It felt great to be able to play at a better form. I would definitely do my best in furthur matches in this form or even better. So pick me Gaffer!!!
-Interview ended with Kai giving a toast to his teammates. Cheers!-
