Mixed reaction from Ang
Amidst the clubs statement on their official site that they are ready to accept offers for Ang, it was reported that Ang is disappointed at the club's decision. Despite appearing for every game since BPFC was founded, the decision by the club to sell their ever reliable right back was received with bad reactions from the fans as well as the player himself.
The club is ready to use Ang as a marketing tool to boost the club's finances. Given his high level of performance for the club, the whole world knows that the sale of Ang would bring about fortunes for BPFC, perhaps even beating Ronaldo to being the world's most expensive player. But all these aside, Ang had clarified to the press that despite Man United being his childhood team, he is ready to put pen to paper for a new future at BPFC.
Ang would also like to take the opportunity to thank the fans that stood by him in times of crisis, especially when a large number of them turned out in support of him when there were doubts over his future. A certain tag on the tagboard has also said to start a war of words between teammates, as first choice set piece taker is said to be happy for the release of Ang.
Dressing room unrest would now seem unavoidable and it remains to be seen how the club would react to Ang's unhappiness to the board.
