BPFC back in full force

My return from Finland has seen the team play 2 games in a short one month, compared to 1 game in the first 6 months of the year. However, this is largely dependent on how free i am to organise, and hence not sustainable. Below are the new plans for the future.

1. Hong Yun and Peng Yong will join me in organising games.
2. We will play once in 2 weeks and this will be fixed. After each game, pls inform us if u can make it 2 weeks later.
3. A facebook group and a footballopod website has been created. FB is more for using the events application, while footballopod is for us to source for opponents. U can view the footballopod site here.
4. We will start to play games that cost 80-90 each game, the only way for us to sustain playing once in 2 weeks.
5. Our first choice slot for each game is Sunday 3pm. If this is not available for most, Saturday will be the next alternative.

Since now we are hoping to make it a fix 2 weeks after a previous game, it would also be easier for you to organise your own timings.

Issue 1: Regarding recruiting frens permanently into the team, this discussion will be postponed until further notice. Im sure you don want to one day end up turning up for BPFC duty, realising that half the team are your fren's frens. Favian is keen for a return to football, despite only able to jog in 6 months' time. Henceforth, we will stick with these 16 players for the time being and see how things go.

Issue 2: Its not been the first time since ive been asked by opponents why we arent playing in league. My answer is always the same, that we cant commit during exam periods. If everyone is keen for it, which also saves trouble from the organising comittee, we will aim at playing after most have grduated, in about 2-3 years' time. Its not a long time, considering we have already been playing for 2 years.

The most important thing is our team is now on attendance sensitive status. We only have 16 available players, minus away Joel and Kai who have other commitments, we are down to 14. I hope everyone can understand that its a tough job to get the attendance, and your quick reply, even if u are not sure if u are free, goes a long way to helping us keep the team going.

The bottomline is: Reply to FB or SMS asap!

Should u have any burning desire that you need to speak out, pls, voice your concerns on the tagboard.

Lastly, Lets play football.
