Another winless outing

Its been a long time since we lost won a game. But these start stop periods are definitely affecting our game to a large extent. Besides match fitness, we need a good run of games to relive the days of the once almighty BPFC that goes around winning every game. Rusty legs were obvious when simple passes went astray time and again.

Despite a heavy loss at the hands of Chelsea Uncles FC, we can still take pride in ourselves in continuing to press the opponents after their first goal. They practically resorted to counter attacks after goal number 1 and we had all the possession in our hands, though screwing up along the way, they were hardly playing fluent football. On the other hand, we had several good spells, despite not threatening the keeper enough.

Finland bound Gaffer came closest to reducing the deficit from the team after Xing's freekick fell off the crossbar onto his path. The quick reactioned header went well over the bar in what appears to be a simple head in. Pengyong's wonderful volley hits the post in the best chance of the game.

We were unlucky to concede more goals but did fight back with top scorer Alan with a sublime finish. For once, each and every corner from us felt like they were penalties, as we threaten to level the scoreline once and again. Lady luck was obviously not on us. See what i mean:



And we all wonder how the ball didnt go into the back of the net at the end of the day.
